Karina was our server and was precious. The hostess that sat us was also very kind, warm and welcoming. Then came the food. Holy cow! I got the famous chicken fried steak. It lives up to the hype. And $13 bucks for a TON of food. I knew I wouldn’t be able to eat it all but I just couldn’t pass it up. Delicious. Fresh. And came out fast. Great place to visit if you are local or like me and from out of town.

The salmon salad was amazingly good. Unexpected for a diner. The chicken fried steak was tender with a nice light batter. Hold.

Only place we have ever visited that had several flavors of milkshakes with alcohol! We there the next morning at 6am, prior to the parade, and saw many of the same workers that were there the night before so was glad for the service and happy to seem them making hay! Definitely a place to visit while in Tulsa.

I loved the classic diner décor, the neon sign, and the fact that it’s right on the historic Route 66 road. There are two Tally’s locations in Tulsa, and I’m glad we chose this one since it was open later—the other location closed at 3 PM. The food was terrific, and we couldn’t resist ordering the super-large cinnamon roll to go. We were very happy we stopped here. It’s so worth it, and you’ll be happy you did t
