Stopped in for a little midday snack and a couple of cocktails while visiting our daughter at school. It’s a Fun place. Lots to look at. Lots of TVs to watch games. The menu has quite a few options. The cocktails were tasty. We went on a Friday and it wasn’t too busy. We didn’t have to wait too long to be seated. Our waitress was attentive and kept her drinks refilled and checked frequently to make sure we didn’t need anything.

Buffalo Phil’s is probably one of the last true local classic spots left on the strip in Tuscaloosa. It gets packed on game days and you might feel a bit rushed, but that’s just part of the energy that makes it a local institution. Catch it during off hours and you can really enjoy what is a solid bar and being joint. On my last video I was reminded they have chili served seasonally from October to March so I went with that an no regrets at all. I had such a great experience at Buffalo Phils and a huge part of that was because of our server Felix! From the moment we sat down they were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed all night. Even with it being busy he stayed upbeat, kept our drinks full, and got our food out quickly and accurately. What really stood out was how personable and energetic he was. He made the whole experience more fun and welcoming. Great service like that is hard to find and it definitely made us want to come back. Highly recommend asking for him if you visit!

The atmosphere was amazing and the service was a typical bar but the chicken wings were the size of my thumb. It would be a nice place if you want to go out and get some drinks but not to get any food.
