Super affordable and delicious Hainanese chicken rice! A Cantonese delight! The Original: The chicken was tender and boneless, making it easy to eat; the rice soaked up the chicken broth, making it flavorful and aromatic; the dipping sauce is different from typical Hainanese chicken rice, resembling soybean paste, and a bit salty, but this was just right because the chicken itself has no base flavor. Most importantly, it was great value for money--$12.95 for eight pieces of meat, a serving of rice, and a side of radish soup. What more could you ask for? Thai Tea: Very weak and not good.

Overall, I felt that the food (ingredients) was low quality as well as not tasting good. Partly because it is not my typical style of cuisine - but good food would be good regardless of how it’s prepared. Eating that chicken made me want to abstain from eating chicken for a bit and I craved some other “simple” foods after (like bread and butter and coffee) to forget the flavors. Would not gogo again.
