I visited the Pine Cone from Texas a couple of weeks ago. I love a good breakfast spot and this seemed to be a local favorite. I went in the middle of the work week, so it was not crowded at all. There is a sign that says to wait to be seated so I stood there a few moments until another patron said I could choose my own seat. The service was great and my coffee cup stayed full. I ordered the cherry almond poppy seed pancakes and good grief it was so big it could have fed my whole family! Unfortunately I was alone so much of it had to go to waste. Would love the option for a smaller portion!

Had to leave a review after stopping by the Pine Cone Cafe this weekend—seriously impressed. We came in on Easter Sunday morning, so I was expecting it to be slammed and maybe a little chaotic, but that wasn’t the case at all. The whole place was running smooth, and the staff was on top of everything. Our server, Robin, was great—super friendly, attentive, and just easy to deal with. We've been twice in the last month. Our server was fantastic and made me feel like I was at home. I got the Chilaquiles Skillet special, and it was SO GOOD. We even took home dinner before we left. Small town charm, BIG on flavor and family. 10/10. It's one of our favorite brunch diners in the state. The Pine Cone is a must try!
