Got in town late and stopped in on way to hotel based on my pizza "hit list." No frills setting and appeared they were understaffed. Ordered broccoli bites and extra crisp pizza with mushrooms, banana peppers, and meatballs. Broccoli bites were good. Pizza - crust was awesome, super crisp and light. Toppings were good, but sauce seemed a bit bland. Would stop in again.

Thanks Tommys Pizza Was a tradition to take our grandkids to eat here after the OSU Spring Game. When walking inside was met with a very unkind lady with black hair who was very unhappy we chose her restaurant to bring 4 cold wet hungry kids. We glad to wait the 30 min . Told her that they lived 2 hours away and were so excited to eat here. She was unfazed. Told me my grandkids were getting in the way and we needed to stand outside. WOW. We bowed out. I have been coming to Tommys since I was a teenage. Now 45 later, I am sadly disappointed in the establishment. I tried calling for 15 mins past Saturday night to order an order to go as I was in the area. Unable to get anyone to answer the phone time and time again.No one picks up ( far unlike the old days). Recorder saying to go on line, I do not have access to do so on my phone. Last couple times I was in to pick up an order. I felt unwelcome to wait inside although 2/3 rds of the dining room was empty. I was asked to wait in my car until the my order was ready. Is there new ownership? Mor

We visited Tommy's because I saw an article last year that said Tommy's was the best Columbus Tavern style pizza. Holy smokes it was so good. The crust was delicious and so crunchy. There were even air bubbles in the bottom of crust that led to the perfect crunch. The sauce was excellent and the toppings were high quality. The pizzas were cooked perfectly and I couldn't get enough. I will also say that the homemade meatballs were excellent and the homemade Italian dressing was really great! The dining room was dirty and in disrepair but the pizza was so good that we didn't care. I definitely r
