THEY DO NOT SELL STEAK HERE. It is labeled as SIRLOIN but I got a BURGER. Literally just a big burger of ground beef. Chicken soup was good, mashed potatoes were fine, spinach looked and tasted like it was that frozen block you buy at the grocery store. Sean was great, food was BAD.

This place exceeded my expectations. My husband and I ate here last week. Our server was very helpful and guided us in the right direction. My husband had a turkey bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel. The bagel was fresh, and the sandwich was made perfectly. I ordered the Bacon Jam Gouda Burger and it was the BEST burger I have ever had! The bacon jam was house made and absolutely delish! My experience at Montclair Diner has been one of the best experiences I’ve had. The people there have never given me a reason to be upset — even when I had a bad day, the smiling faces and atmosphere is what really made me happy. Although the people are amazing, the food is even better. I’m a sucker for a good cheeseburger, and at Montclair Diner I got that craving fulfilled. Their fries are also amazing too. Not salty, not soggy, not and not overly crunchy; they have a perfect balance that makes it unforgettable. Montclair Diner’s milkshakes are also amazing. Rich and delicious in every way.

I visited this place for the first time, and unfortunately, it turned into a very disappointing and upsetting experience. Two of my friends arrived about 10 minutes before us and were seated at a table in the very back. When the three of us joined them shortly after, I asked why they were sitting there despite the restaurant being nearly empty (only three tables were occupied).
