Classic Upper West Side bar with a lot going for it, including location. It’s just a block from The Dakota, and it carries that same old New York feel. The atmosphere is the standout. Dimly lit, warm, and genuinely comforting. It feels like a place you can actually relax instead of being rushed out. Service matched the vibe. Casual, friendly, and refreshingly not pressured. This bar has such a good vibe! My friends and I got happy hour drinks and the mini burgers. So so good! The bartender Carlos was very friendly and nice! They had also have the perfect music from back to when I was young!!!! Definitely should visit!

Stopped by with a girlfriend of mine around 7pm, we ordered 2 over priced martinis $42 in a small not regular martini glass, the bartender* the only male bartender at the time, didn't ask what type of spirit we wanted? We tried to ask and he was just not connecting, I've been to this bar many times over the years and this would be the last time my friends and I go. I drank my martini, paid the bill, went to the bathroom and I couldn't believe how disgusting the kitchen smelled when I went downstairs, the bathroom was also a horror. Went there at 11 PM for a late dinner and I was assured that the kitchen was still opened. I ordered a drink, shrimp cocktail and a bruschetta. I got my drink promptly but 25 minutes in there is no sight of my food and then I get a pizza I did not order. I’m not having that so I paid for my drink and left. They offered a discount for my drink but I do not care about that. What I care is that it is 11:30 I’m hungry and now pretty much every other place is closed. I’ll remember that.
