If you’re in the Upper West Side in New York, and you’re visiting the Museum of American History, you’ve gotta stop by this spot after. The food is amazing — the soup is delicious, the bowls are awesome, and the service is a solid 10/10. Everyone’s super friendly. Plus, you eat really well without spending a ton of money! Every time I come to New York, I’m definitely coming back here!

Over the last few months, I’ve been hearing about how wonderful the Westville restaurants are and while they just opened a new location near our apartment on the east side, we walked into their location at 2290 Broadway just before a long line formed behind us! Remarkably, we managed to get a great table and more importantly, a wonderful server, Kara who explained the restaurant’s unique menu. We had a fabulous lunch! I chose the Lunch Market Plate: garlic mashed potatoes, roasted tofu and herb flavored carrots! My wife ordered the Crispy Goat Cheese Salad, which was also delicious!

A well lit bistro, excellent service, original entrées, crunchies veggies, excellent "beverages." I had the falafel without the pita (they were most accomodating an elderly gentleman with crashing bloodsugar), two Catskill pilsners, a huge plate of sautée brussel sprouts. Oh so good. An unexpected joyeuse festival on Broadway. The patience of the staff borders on indulgence.
