A café with character. The mix of rustic and modern fit very nicely in downtown Vancouver. There appear to be several good pastry options. Coffee is done well. There are staples and a variety of specialty drinks. The espresso did not taste or look burnt nor over poured. Cold brew was smooth and refreshing. Staff was charming and on top of it. Come early to find good seating.

the cafe shop is nice, cozy and great for hanging out with friends or studying. their drinks are good, ive tried their earl grey matcha and banana pudding matcha. the banana pudding matcha is delicious and reccomend to get it if you come here. staffs are friendly.

Compass Coffee provides a fun experience. The interior is warm and inviting. There’s lots of seating (a long shared solid wood table in the center with 12 chairs, a bar with nine stools, a wooden bench that looks like a pew in the back, several small tables near the front windows, and some covered outdoor seating). There’s a natural, solid wood floor that just exudes warmth and comfort. There are plants and thoughtfully-placed decorations. There are big windows everywhere providing ample light. My black coffee was very good. They steamed the cream for free and it was excellent ($4.50 with one
