Went there on a Wednesday night and it was packed. The drawing on chalk is interesting and should definitely give it a read. There is no menu for diner and the chef will decide what to cook and customize the proportion for each table. The ribs are my favorite and they are tender with rich flavour, they don’t taste dry or greasy, which is a perfect balance. People also like the steak which was tender. Cool restaurant/ bar in Venice, drinks are superb but the food didn’t meet our expectations. I had heard everything is super tasty but in fact the portions were rather small and some of the food items were bland. They all look great but not as yummy as we thought. Great location, wonderful setting and wine list. The food is good but beware that vegan options are VERY limited - only two items could be adapted on the menu, apart from sides. None of the pasta dishes can be made vegan which was disappointing. Overall a good experience and not crazy expensive for the ambiance.
