Been here many times throughout the years and Cafe Zack never disappoints. From appetizers, entrees, desserts, all food items are delicious. Bar is so cute too and drinks are on point. Wow. WOW WOW WOW! this place deserves it all good was made with love and care the owner was beyond attentive you can tell he cares so much about his craft and his people. I got the Filet Mignon and it melted in my mouth it was so flavorful and not too strong on the sauce it danced on my mouth. The atmosphere was very intimate. if you have an anniversary or date night please do yourself a favor and come here. It is on the expensive end, but you get every single dollar worth of food, every single dollar worth of service. I cannot recommend this place enough

What an absolute gem! My husband and I were looking for a new place to try in Ventura and we found Cafe Zack and decided to give it a try based on all of the great reviews. Cafe Zack did not disappoint! The restaurant has a small cozy interior space, a beautiful bar area and a lovely outdoor space that can accommodate small or large groups. They even have cute little chair shaped purse hangers at each table on the patio which was such a special little touch. The wait staff are incredible. Very friendly and attentive. Was very much looking forward to a great birthday celebration and dinner. We had all been wanting to eat here and it finally worked out. There’s no way a 3/4 inch ribeye is 1 lb as shown on the menu, cooked well done nonetheless. Pasta dishes was average. Feels like just another restaurant getting its food from Sysco. Man. Just want to find some semblance of the dishes found in Italy. Dining is supposed to give you a taste and experience that you can’t traditionally find at home. Nothing special. Good setting. Expensive for what you get.
