Dang, I wish there were more restaurants like Hi-View. The wait staff is incredibly nice. There's a wide selection of dishes and the servings are quite sufficient. All the items we've had here have been pretty decent and we always have leftovers. Many of the salad dressings are homemade, and that is a huge plus in my books. There's a good selection of desserts too. This place has been in business since 1962. I think that kind of shows its value to the neighborhood. We're not from the area, but when we are nearby, we usually stop and have a great meal.

Cozy family restaurant in Villa Park. It has a good homely feel. Hostess was friendly and prompt. Good place to bring kids for pancakes and eggs. Food is good and not expensive. They have a big room for large groups too. Lots of fliers from local business in the notice board.

This breakfast restaurant is a gem. I took long to write my review but won’t forget my amazing experience. I had the ham steak breakfast and was perfectly cook including the good prices and the very attentive staff. I wish is Closer from me , but on special days is one of my favorite spots to celebrate. The chili is good. Entered into a chili competition at work and really didnt feel like cooking. Purchased 4 quarts of chili and told my co-workers how I slaved over making this chili, putting just the right spices in to give it its unique taste. Everyone loved it! I lost 1st place by two points, probably because the judge can't add, but whatever. And yes, those are hotdogs in the picture. We made chili dogs. Their cream of chicken soup is good too.
