I was excited to try Wake Forest Coffee Company based on its reviews, history, and long-standing reputation. The rustic interior has a classic charm that I really liked, and the place had a warm, local feel. The staff was also welcoming and swift, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, before ordering, I noticed fruit flies around the pastries, which was very off-putting and made me decide not to get coffee this time. I have been coming to Wake Forest Coffee Company for 10 years now. It has only improved over the past decade! The staff is friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Whenever I’m indecisive I can tell them what flavor profiles I enjoy and they’ll make suggestions or even concoct something of their own. You’ll never get tired of their selection because they have a vast amount of syrups!
