The new Lucky star Chinese restaurant is a step above the average neighborhood Asian bistro. The Hunan shrimp was decent, with tons of fresh veggies and the portions were more than adequate. The kitchen was open, and the staff was very pleasant. While it’s not amazing. It does fit into the very good category. It makes it a perfect choice for a quick meal with family or friends. Note: please allow time for preparation on calling orders. It could be quite busy.

Ordered through DoorDash and overall had a great experience. The chicken wings were seasoned very well—crispy on the outside and flavorful all the way through. The shrimp egg foo young had plenty of flavor and a rich, savory gravy. The tofu and mixed vegetables were fresh and cooked just right, and the fried rice tied everything together nicely. My only real disappointment was the french fries—they arrived cold and stale, which stood out since everything else was hot and fresh. Still, the food quality was solid and I’d definitely order again.

This is our regular local Chinese takeout place. The food is pretty consistent and it is always ready in 15-20 minutes. If you pick up in person they often give you free drinks. We've never had a missed menu item from here. It is pretty cheap. They will take orders over the phone and you can pay when you arrive. In general it's a reliable option for takeout Chinese food.
