On a random Monday night, upon arriving, we didn’t have a reservation, but they still accommodated me and my boyfriend! The host was very helpful as well as our server. I had the Calamari as a starter, it was very tasteful! Then for my entree, I had their 8oz steak with the mac and cheese and creamed spinach. The steak was very flavorful and cooked to perfection! Ordered the Japanese A5 Wagyu New York (10 oz). It initially came out well done, which was disappointing, especially at that price point. Service overall was a bit slow and there were multiple mix-ups at our table. That said, the manager handled it well — stepped in quickly, remade the steak correctly, and comped a few items, which I appreciated. When the steak came back medium rare, it was a completely different experience. Extremely soft, buttery, and literally melted in my mouth. I booked Masteo's by accident thinking it was this other steak resturant in the area. I am happy I made the mistake. The dining experience was well worth it. Food came out at a reasonable time, and the staff was nice. Overall, 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back. Great ambiance as well. I apologize for the horrible pics. I felt weird taking pics of our food. It seemed too classy for the nonsense I was trying to do, LOL!!! I had the Chilean Sea Bass, my wife had the steak. The sides were mash, mac, and brocolini.
