Went here for the first time for a wedding anniversary, and the food was fantastic. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the newer, more open and casual atmosphere at a lot of these higher end places. Maybe we're old fashioned, but we like our higher end places to be a bit more formal, but the service was exceptional. The shareable steak was a great option, and probably among the best steaks I've ever had. Since it took a long time to prepare, they gave us an appetizer of wings for free. It's definitely a nice place, but expensive, and we'd go back for special occasions.

Our first time visiting O+O was a great experience. Starting with the place, it is a beautiful setting, cozy and modern. The staff is very friendly and attentive, making sure that you feel welcome and is always getting what you need. The food was delicious. The highlight of my experience at Olive + Oak was the service I received. Hands down some of the best wait staff I could have ever experienced. The food at the restaurant was right there with the service I received. I ordered the beef tartare as my starter which easily a 10/10 for me and the venison loin which I would give 8/10. Highly recommend this restaurant for a date night or if you're in the area and want something special.

I have to be honest with you. I didn't know anything about St. Louis before I visited here for a few days. I certainly wasn't expecting the food scene to be so excellent.
