I visited KFC yesterday and used the drive-through service. The young man who took our order, Alan, was exceptionally professional, courteous, and clear in his communication. Having managed KFC and McDonald’s restaurants in Canada since 1995, I can honestly say that Alan is one of the most professional customer service employees I have encountered in a long time. I would like to commend Alan for his outstanding customer service skills. He was helpful, respectful, and made the ordering process pleasant and efficient. Great customer service! I ordered online and went inside since the app said it was about ready for pickup but when I went in the manager Maria said they were making a FRESH batch of chicken and it would just be a short wait. Since there would be a bit of a wait she even offered me a free drink! Very clean inside and everybody seemed very sweet. This kind of customer service is hard to find especially at fast food places but this was just an overwhelmingly exceptional experience!

I went thru the drive thru & asked for the 5 Tenders meal, wanting a larger drink. The clerk said it comes with an extra side, which I said 4x I do not want. I was directed to park out front, to wait for my food. While waiting, another customer parked, went inside & left before I got my food. I didn't get a receipt & they gave me 2 sides anyways--which I'm certain I was charged for. Either the customer service is very low IQ, intentionally dishonest at upselling, or both. I might be done with KFC for good.

The quality of their chicken isn't bad. They are sometimes out of barbecue sauce and one time didn't even tell me until after I paid. Years ago we went here and when it was time to pay, my husband said $5 in cash and the rest on his card. The guy came back so my husband asked for a receipt. Then the guy hands him the $5 bill and a receipt showing the full amount was charged to his card meaning the guy was about to pocket the $5.
