Talulla is a great contemporary fine dining restaurant, with white table linens, that is not very common any more in the Boston area. The food is very good in general with seasonal changes that keeps the menu fresh. It's the type of chef owner restaurant that we love to support, especially given the great cooking and efforts in bringing a reasonably priced fine dining experience that we find seriously lacking today in Boston. The use of seasonal ingredients was inspiring. For a fine dining restaurant with a tasting menu that has tips included, it is also an excellent value. The service was quite attentive. Long awaited review for one of Cambridge's most exclusive restaurants! I was so excited we finally got a table here and left so pleased with the quality of food, service, and overall experience. I came for a birthday dinner, and the staff immediately treated us to a glass of champagne to celebrate. We ordered the chefs tasting menu, which I cluded a multi course meal centered on small dishes to spark different parts of the taste buds. The food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional. The à la carte options are great, and the tasting menu is impressive—both in terms of creativity and quality—and offers amazing value for what you get. The beverage program is just as strong. The pairings are thoughtful, the wine selection is excellent, and the servers do a fantastic job explaining everything. Even if you don’t drink alcohol, they have great options—I personally loved the zero-proof “No-groni.” This is definitely a restaurant worth visiting.
