Excellent stop for lunch, with pleasant outdoor seating on a relatively quiet street. We stopped here for lunch two days in a row, after enjoying it so much the first time. Friendly service, quality ingredients and well-selected wine options. The oysters, from three different locations (both coasts), were flavorful and meaty. The burrata is fantastic. The Clam is a low-key West Village spot that just gets it right—fresh seafood, simple menu, and no overthinking it. The outdoor seating is the move, small and relaxed with that classic NYC sidewalk vibe, especially on a nice day. Not a big scene, just consistently good food and an easy place to go back to.

Came here on a lazy Saturday evening. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Matthew was such a great server and everything he recommended was fantastic. The food is simple but excellent. The lobster arancini and Kampachi crudo were stand out appetizers. The black sea bass entree was so fresh, with a sauce that was flavorful and paired perfectly. To top it off, we got the snickerdoodle dessert with espresso ice cream (instead of raspberry, as per Matthew’s recommendation) was a perfect way to end the night. Excellent spot overall and definitely coming back.
