We went to the Whelk to celebrate our birthdays and it was full. Thank god we got reservations in advance. So please guys make reservations in advance because you’re gonna wanna try this amazing restaurant. We ordered tuna tartare and snap peas salad. Both were absolutely delicious. The tartare is a little spicy, the salad has a creamy and slightly tangy dressing which goes really well with snap peas and elevate the whole salad. Next we got cavatelli pasta and spicy carbonara. Cavatelli was fresh and super delicious and is an original classic. The spicy carbonara is a new addition in the menu

Had the best girls’ night here! The seafood was incredible and the cocktails were perfect—especially the truffle goat cheese–stuffed olive martini (try saying that three times 😄). Can’t wait to come back, especially on a beautiful summer day to enjoy oysters and rosé. Highly recommend!

This place has a good atmosphere and good service. However the food is underseasoned and bland. Drink options are limited if you're looking for whiskey or IPAs. We were a party of 6 and unknowingly there is a time limit for tables and got pushed to a table for 4, even tho we spent close to $1000. They tried to smooth over their rude behavior with free desserts and select drinks. First time I've ever been asked to move to smaller table where guests would have to stand. The food was WAY better than I expected. It was pure magic. It’s made with so much love and passion, every dish is so flavourful and full of life. Plus the people who work there are beyond just sweet, they’re so hospitable, so nice, so warm. If I could go to this place every day, I WOULD. Special appreciation for chef Mike, he’s AMAZING, he’s talented, his passion for cooking SHOWS. And to not forget Pablo who also works in the kitchen who made us THE BEST grilled Octopus in the whole world! Do visit this place at least once in your whole life.
