Wow, I've passed by this place twice a day every day for 3 months now, and I finally got a chance to stop by. Incredible! Southside Pizza, at the corner of 8th and Mifflin. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere, large menu, not just pizza. The first time I got a bacon burger and cheese fries. The second time was a Tuesday so I got  tacos. The third time I got the shrimp basket with fries, the menu said 21 pieces of shrimp, but they gave me 23 💚 came with garlic toast. Everything I got here was absolutely delicious, and very filling. The staff were nice and the place was fine, it's just the food I had an issue with. I ordered the pesto chicken pizza. The pizza didn't have any cheese on it, and the crust tasted pre-made, like a frozen crust. Honestly it was more like an open faced sandwich than a pizza. I would not order from here if you want standard pizza. It was also pretty lukewarm despite not being ready when I arrived and having "just come out of the oven." We honestly didn't end up eating it. I would not recommend this place or get pizza from here again.

The pizza was very good and I'm glad I got a slice of pepperoni. The Cheesesteak was standard. Good amount of extras but they were not mixed and very well. I think it was overpriced at $10.94. Very nice man working there. Pizza was very good. Good overall experience.
