My apologies for the mostly eaten food here but I still felt a meal this good deserves a pic. This was an incredible meal. First off, our waiter was also running the bar and was one of the most accommodating dudes I've ever met. We had kids with us and he was just super cool and helpful. The food is insane. Easily the best pozole I've had in a long long time. The wife got the mole enchiladas and they were also excellent. I'd love to go back and hit their margarita menu some more. This place absolutely rips, thanks y'all.

This place has a lot of potential. I have been here two times and the first time we had a really great meal. We came here about a month later and it was a little average. The highlights are the burritos, the salad and the pazole. The carne asada plate with the rice and the beans was a 3/10 almost no seasoning on any of it. The birra tacos were very good 7.5/10. As a local, I’ve been wanting to try Kalaka for a while, and it did not disappoint! My husband and I stopped in during lunch, and it was such a great experience. The atmosphere was great — they played good, low music that set the vibe without being loud. You can actually have a conversation, which I really appreciate, especially during lunch. I ordered the pomegranate margarita. It was definitely on the liquor-forward side (not complaining at all 😆), but in my opinion it would’ve been even better without the big craft ice ball. The vibe and atmosphere were really cool laid back, energetic, and a great place to hang out with friends or grab a casual meal. The food was solid. I ordered the birria tacos which was really good. Overall, the combination of good food and a great atmosphere made it a spot I’d definitely come back to. Looking forward to trying more from the menu next time.
