Probably the best pie in greater Denver in terms of a simple classic neopolitano crust. Margherita was almost perfect. Better quality basil would help but superb. I didnt think good pizza was available in Denver. The meat lovers, whatever they called was a little too loaded, hence too salty and resulted in an oily pizza bottom. Maybe 1 meat is enough. But dont let that stop you from going. Oh the meatballs are pretty darn good too.

Pizzeria Leopold is so damn good. Every time. The pizza crust is incredible - light, crispy, but still holds up and has amazing flavor. I usually need to dip my pizza crust in ranch or honey but not here - it’s so good on its own. And their sandwiches are BOMB. Packed full of meats and toppings, not just bread like a lot of places. Great and as authentic Italian pizza you can find in Denver. We have ordered about four times from here. And my recommendation is getting the 10 inch do not get the larger pizza. Buy a few of the 10 inch the flavor and the baking of the pizza is perfect. I tried to find a way to attach a 14 inch picture , the larger pizza. There’s only two sizes. Unfortunately the 14 inch crust gets burned and the flavor is not the same as the smaller pizza. Drier, less sauce , cheese .
