How this place has all these good reviews, I'll never know. I understand these are new owners and have been there for 4 years. I should have known by the smell on the car ride home that I was in trouble. My egg foo young tasted as though it had been fried in old grease. My tongue was coated after the first taste, so I know what that means! I called to complain and I'm sure it was not appreciated but they don't ever have to worry about me coming there again!!!! My first clue was the filthy door! I should have known better! Nasty food!

When we moved to Wheaton someone recommended China Star and we were hooked. Great food, priced right. Clearly a family run restaurant, so you can just tell they care about food quality and customer service. Everything is ready quickly. Our family loves picking up food from here and enjoying our dinner at home.

I used to really love this Chinese place and would always look forward to going there, but after my last experience, I honestly don’t think I’ll ever go back again. The service was unbelievably rude. The mom told me I couldn’t ask my family member to clarify their order, which was fine at first, but then the daughter came over and completely changed the situation.
