I would like to love this place, but I can’t. The drinks were mid and the food was just okay. The services and the atmosphere were 10/10! We started off with a hibiscus and strawberry margarita, which was just okay. And then my husband got the old fashion which was not great. We then got a mojito to help cleanse his palate but the mojito was just not great either. For food options, we started off the guacamole which was great and chicharrón, which was nicely seasoned and crunchy. I would have to say this place is very pricey but you can tell by the decor and ambiance. It’s a nice spot to catch

I do not recommend El Primo in White Plains. The shrimp tacos were by far some of the worst tacos I’ve had on the White Plains strip. The food was disappointing but what made the experience even worse was the customer service. I had to ask for napkins and when I did the waiter responded with an attitude. When I expressed that I didn’t like the shrimp tacos I expected at least some level of customer service. My boyfriend and I first came to El Primo over 10 months ago and had an amazing experience. We ordered the birria pizza, quesadillas, and margaritas, and everything was delicious. Unfortunately, our recent visit was completely different. The menu had changed a lot since our first time there. We went there during my restaurant week. I enjoyed the tuna with Mexican seasoning, ramen Birria was different from traditional Ramen. The broth was thick.lt was something different. Atmosphere was low light. It also had outdoor bar, I guess for the summer. classy and if it was good.
