This place is simply phenomenal. I went for the first time over a year ago, and have been dreaming about their proscuitto di parma (aged 24 months and then placed on a tomato crustini) ever since. I went back yesterday, and it was just as good. I can’t express enough how amazing this place is, and the service was wonderful. All the servers are friendly and helpful, and were willing to accommodate our quick turn-around time of 30 minutes on a busy weekend. What a beautiful experience at Aurora in Brooklyn. The pasta was absolutely spectacular , rich, perfectly balanced, and full of authentic Italian flavor. The risotto was equally impressive, creamy and refined, cooked to perfection. The kale salad was fantastic , fresh, vibrant, and beautifully prepared. And the dessert… the chocolate cake paired with their homemade ice cream was simply unforgettable. We also enjoyed a lovely selection of Italian wines that complemented every course beautifully. We hosted a 50th birthday dinner for 15 people at Auora and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The planning process was seamless the team was incredibly flexible and accommodating, especially with allowing us to bring in florals and additional décor. They also created a customized prix-fixe menu for our group, which made it much easier to keep costs predictable while still offering a great dining experience for our guests.
