I met with Lan a couple months before my event and she was very communicative over Instagram DM, sharing instructions and letting me know how to coordinate with her to promote my event. She requires a flyer with a QR code (easy to make on Canva) and the invitation is hosted on Partiful (you may NOT use eventbrite). I try to remain impartial and not be obligated to give 5-star reviews just because a place is a small business. With that being said, this place is a good 5-star. A little weird I will say that but that’s the intended vibe. Great how they support small artists. The food was surprisingly good so feel free to get that.

Super cute artist-driven cafe! Whimsical metal artwork caught my eye on the front of the building so I stopped in to find a large cafe space with plenty of seating. The cafe has Japanese bites, coffee/tea + pastries, and a bar for alcoholic drinks too. There is a piano you can play, books/games to borrow, and even a nook to relax or take a nap. They also have various events to check out too! Artists can collaborate with the space to host events for free.
