Doug Roberts★★Very mediocre. I ordered on an app which said to pick up the food inside, but the door was locked and they required to come to the drive-through. There was only one person working in there doing the cooking and serving. The chicken was mediocre. The breading was odd. The sides were very good though. Not worth the price

Mom was born in LA and when we came to town this weekend for the Tupac Museum we had to leave the trip on a high note. Golden Bird 100/100. The chicken strips, drum sticks, peach cobbler, banana pudding, red beans and rice, ample fries, & mac and cheese reminded Mom of her childhood and made a new fan out of me!!!! Worth every penny. Your taste buds will thank you!

So I pulled to the window, no one inside. As I was leaving the drive thru a woman was sitting in the back. She appeared to be talking on her phone & smoking. She didn't respond when I asked if the restaurant was open. Such a failure as a business with such a Great history. Someone PLEASE open a franchise in the Compton, Watts or Carson area.
