Delicious, interesting combination of what I think of as Indian and East African. Very flavorful, with large portions. I have not yet had dinner there, only lunch. Great vegetarian and naturally-vegan choices. Carefully and attentively made. Omar and Fatima are exceedingly friendly and generous. If you want the heat you may be used to with Ethiopian or Indian food, say yes to the hot sauce. :)

Had the Triple S and Somali chicken sandwich.. They were both great. The triple S taste like a spicy beef stew inside a panini.. delicious.. the chai tea is lightly spiced. perfect. I will be back and go through the rest of this menu in time..And free African donuts.!

When people say that Worcester has a great food scene (‘if you can find it’) they are talking about Fatima’s cafe. I couldn’t tell you what’s better—the food or the welcoming service from Omar. The food is HOT, made to order, and delicious. Well cooked and made with love. I had the E. African dinner plate with chicken stew, mixed vegetables and Bata (sweet potatoes, yuca), and the Somali Anjero (like a fluffy crepe). I don’t typically care for chai tea but Fatima’s chai was so repeatedly recommended on here that I had to try it. Absolutely delicious. If you like hot sauce, they make their own

Excellent east African cuisine! If you are in the mood for some authentically prepared sukuma, ugali, and mbuzi, there is no better place to get it than here. The staff is lovely and clearly passionate about food, too. Don't just take this mzungu's word for it: my wife is Kenyan and gave it an A+!
