For context, I am fluent in Spanish so there were definitely not any communication issues. I really wanted to like this place. I'm new to the area and all I heard was try Maria's Kitchen. Honestly I am not sure how this place is still open. Their food has NO flavor, no salt, nothing. The location is so out of date and ugly, they need to invest back in their business. On top of that the customer service is horrendous. The worst thing though is when you order $16 worth of food and you're about to pay but they are charging you $26 and then when you ask why since you only ordered $16 worth of food

Never again. I had rice and meat only. Since when did they start throwing pork in the rice?. First time I got sick from here. Idk whose idea was that in the kitchen but it was so DISGUSTING. NOT a good idea. You have to pick through bone and fatt trying to eat your rice. Can you imagine eating rice and spitting out the flubber🤢🤢🤢🤢 and trying not to crack your teeth on bones!. I just wanted to eat rice with flavor. The last time I was eating this rice choice, it had spicy ham CHUNKS not PORK. Good place to eat Latin traditional food, fast service, friendly staff, and clean . Just the music is too loud for an eating spot. Very affordable prices and good portions. Affordable option for on the go, Carribean food. And decent place to seat and have a quick meal. Nothing fancy, modest and family friendly. Good overall local reputation. Location is not the safest, if you belive on stereotypes. 🤭
