My wife and I had lunch here today. The food was well seasoned, hot and fresh. Absolutely delicious! The portions were large, so we were able to take food home. Elaine is one of the sweetest people on the planet, and the food here is excellent (if not a little dangerous to be living walking distance from 😋😉). Westside seems to be a bit of a community hub; there are always locals from different walks of life here to get some of the great food. Love it!

Food: we got the half pound brisket and half pound pulled pork dinner which also came with at least two sides. Everything was absolutely delicious. The meats were tender and flavorful. Nothing was dry. I like how the potato salad is an overly salted but you can taste the eggs and the potatoes pretty well. The cornbread is not as sweet and you can taste the corn milk, but it’s also not too dry. Service: our server was great made sure that we had everything in our meals. The food was excellent! It was so good, I forgot to take pictures. Their ribs are fall-off-the-bone good! All the meat is super tender and the flavor is Rich and Smokey. Their baked beans are amazing, their mac and cheese is perfectly cheesy. I had barbecue chicken, ribs, brisket, baked beans, coleslaw, mac and cheese, sweet potato fries and cornbread and it was all amazing. This is a small mom and pop place and I loved it!
