I come here often, and the food is legitimately good, and the prices are comparable to fast food (so you’re getting better food at a similar price), but there are some quality consistency issues. 1/3 times either the refried beans are quite runny, or the fries are undercooked, or condiments are forgotten. The last one isn’t really a big deal, but when there are small issues like that 1/3 of the time, it can feel like sort of a gamble, which is disappointing Overall I’d still recommend El Ranchero, though, because the quality/value is still strong all put together, and one of the girls who work

If you order menudo you will get a very small portion for $18. Its more broth than meat. Definitely not worth it.
