We shared a 3 meat platter consisting burnt ends, catfish and brisket. It was all fine although the burnt ends were not really burnt ends. The Mac n cheese was good and the beans were fine. All in all, it was good. But we've had better at the likes of Sonny's and even Chili.

Had time for late lunch. Decided to try out this place. The server was fantastic and was very kind. Seemed like she was the only one there, but it was a late lunch I got the two meat platter. Tried the Texas brisket and by recommendation the rib tips. Then paired it with mac and cheese and firecracker green beans. The brisket was juicy and moist but honestly not much flavor. As I'm from TX missing that bark and smokey flavor. But it was tender. Paired with the devils spit bbq sauce and it was the best thing on the plate. The rib tips were... interesting. I have had Famous Dave’s years ago and liked it, but this time was a total miss. I was in Yuma for business and decided to try Dave’s again. It was a slow night and I was seated right away. The server was polite and took my order quickly. I decided to try the burnt ends brisket with Mac & cheese, and garlic mashed potatoes as my sides. I’m sad to say nothing on that plate was good except the corn bread. The M&C was dry and lacked flavor. The potatoes were cold and not very good. The burnt ends were….inedible.
