Yes, yes, yes. This what you want when you like to eat local traditional food of high quality. I took my group of 8 people here tonight without a reservation. No problem. We could sit inside our outside. The food came fast, the staff were polite and spoke English. The restaurant and kitchen were very clean. The place was full with locals and tourist: a good sign. Most important: the food. The quality was good, very good. The meat was tasty, with the right amount of herbs. Fresh from the bbq. Salad portions were very lange. The desserts were a highlight. The pistache cheesecake was a 9.9/10. My overal score would be a 9.8/10 A score I very rarely give... Dare I say: A Must Visit!

I am rating them 4 as it was difficult to make them understand what I am trying to convey as they were hardly understanding English. Quiet honestly I found the food (kebabs) very fresh and it tasted fabulous. It was juicy. Regarding ambience I think this is one of the best theme restaurants I sat in a very long time. The interior work is beyond expectations. They did not do too much neither they did too little. So overall it’s a 4star except if the understanding was good it would have been more easier for foreigners.

Tourist trap, avoid at all costs. The waiter recommended me a 1kg dish (just for one person), which happens to be the most expensive in the menu, and I ordered it without checking. I ended up eating just a couple of bites, because the meat smelled bad (not sure whether it was rotten or the oil burnt out). Bad experience, bad food , and bad restaurant, in a beautiful city.

Service is very bad, I order a chicken wing and lamp chop but they forgot my lamp chop. Also when I arrived all the waiters just taking with each other and no one give me a guide. And the waiters’ English and Russian are all very poor, so is very difficult to communicate with them.

We arrived in Samarkand two hours ago, found our hotel, took showers, and immediately looked for somewhere to eat. This place was a two minute walk from our hotel. We weren't expecting much and then it turned out being really good! The chicken was delicious! Because it's so close to the hotel we'll probably eat here again before we leave.
