There wasn’t nothing I didn’t like bout Steam. The outdoor terrace is very cosy with cooling system as it was pretty warm during the day. They have a good beer selection and cocktails. I particularly liked the beef sausage that came with cabbage pickles. The service is great and the waitress wear some awesome outfits! Some of them don’t speak any English but we all could communicate sometimes pointing at the menu, sometimes using the translator. The live music was great both times we went. I want to congratulate the band and I was impressed by the singer voice, it reminded me of Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam. We went twice during our stay in Tashkent and we would go back 100% on our next visit.

We didn't expect to have so much fun here. We took one of the outdoor tables in the lovely garden space. The food and refreshing cocktails kept us there for a few hours. And, once the DJ started everyone was indoors on the dance floor until closing time. Thanks, Steam Bar, for making our first night in Tashkent so memorable.

What a fantastic bar / restaurant!! From the moment I arrived the staff treated me like a VIP, being attentive with the service, always helping with the menu and requests, and checking up that all was good as a solo guest. The decor everywhere is incredible, with so much to admire and appreciate, with it extending to all areas including the bathrooms. It’s large inside with plenty of seating, but there’s also loads of tables outside too. QR codes let you browse the menu which is complete with photos to help you decide. There’s a great range of food, from snacks, sharing plates, barbecue etc. Everything is served quickly, including drinks, and portion size is really large with everything being well cooked and tasty. It’s a brilliant spot for relaxing, and after only initially popping in for one drink I ended up staying for hours right into the evening! A highlight in the city.

We had a great time at Steam Bar. We sat outside (which is a lovely space) and had a delicious meal and drinks (great spirits and cocktails menu). The atmosphere was really fun and there was live music and then a DJ on inside with people dancing. It was one of our more expensive meals out but was well worth it for the quality of food and drinks and the overall general vibe. Highly recommend!

A super cool bar that is like a museum from medieval times! Loved the atmosphere! The QR codes for the menu (yes, in English!) and the wifi are on the table, things are made super easy for foreigners! There is a bar snack section on the menu if you just want nibbles with drinks! Something I hadn’t seen often! They have a live band every night at 9:00 and the singer has a good voice. A couple of good songs, but it is mainly rock music, so we left after an hour. Will definitely go back though.

I ordered a chicken burger, and they brought a black glove so your hands don’t get dirty. Sounds like a nice idea, but it was a complete failure. I opened the box and while putting the glove on, I realized it was already covered in oil. My hand got greasy immediately. I called the staff and showed the glove. He didn’t say a single word. No apology, no explanation. He just took it and walked away. Meanwhile I was trying to clean my hand with wet wipes and tissues, and it took several attempts because it was extremely greasy. Then he came back with a new glove and dropped it on the table in a very rude way, almost like he was throwing it. Again, not a single word. After finishing the food, I decided to leave. The same staff member made weird hand gestures trying to direct me. At the cashier, he handed me the receipt in a disrespectful, show-off manner. Overall, the service was beyond terrible.
