This is a beautiful place to stay. I had a full week here prior to the Mekong Marathon and it felt like home. The apartment has absolutely everything. Great views of the bustling city, spacious and light filled. The restaurant is exceptional and I loved my morning coffee or dinner while sitting out on the street. The best part was the staff. So generous, friendly and engaging. I loved my time here and cannot rave enough about how good The Lighthouse is!!

The apartment is clean and well equipped, so you can do your own cooking if you wish. We chose to eat out mainly at the hotel restaurant which has a large choice of dishes and makes a great Vietnamese coffee! |The accommodation is well located for visiting the floating markets at Can Tho as most of the boats leave from nearby. It’s worth having a walk around Can Tho in the afternoon too to see a real authentic Vietnamese market, selling meat, chicken, spices, fruit etc in the open air. |Beds are large and comfy and the A/C works well. Only the sofa could have been better as we could feel the metal bars when sitting down. The windows are double glazed but not very soundproof so light sleepers might be wakened around 4-5am when market stalls are setting up in the nearby street.

Review for the restaurant. Absolutely outstanding! The food was fresh and hot. Not a single part of our meal was bland. Everything tasted awesome and the service was impressive. They have a great selection of food items as well as cocktails and beer. Inside seating was limited but private. We didn’t order the pizza but a family in the restaurant did and it looked so good!

First time in Can Tho. As others have noted, the location is superb—just a 5-minute walk to the floating market tours. It’s right in the heart of the tourist area yet maintains a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Unlike many hotels in Southeast Asia, this place had almost no minor annoyances. Honestly, it felt more comfortable and peaceful than some big-name hotels. My friend and I booked a twin and a single separately, and they kindly gave us connecting rooms (likely due to availability). It might be worth requesting this in advance, though it’s ultimately up to the hotel. Dining at the 1st-floor restaurant: I only tried the breakfast, but the local dishes with a modern twist were delicious. The crepes are a must-try—perfect for tea time with a rich buttery aroma and a smooth, well-rested batter. This spot perfectly combines a hotel, restaurant, and cafe. Highly recommended!

We didn't eat at the restaurant but we stayed in the rooms upstairs. The location is fantastic and the rooms were the nicest we stayed in during our time in Vietnam. Our room directly overlooked a night market but noise wasn't an issue at all. The room was more like a suite as it had a kitchenette. One of the hotel staff went out of their way to iron my dress for a wedding the next day, which was amazing as we had a dinner to attend and limited time to explore in Can Tho. I highly recommend staying here.

We really fancied a change to the Vietnamese cuisine we’d been having for the past couple of weeks so decided to have a Pizza here. We both had the seafood pizza. I was ok but my wife was violently sick, vomiting all night with bad diarrhoea and in bed. She felt sick and queasy straight after leaving the restaurant so must have been bad seafood on her pizza. I messaged the restaurant advising them of this on Wednesday to give them a chance to respond, I said I wanted to let them reply before I posted a review which they still haven’t. All I got was an auto reply telling me someone would get back to me but heard nothing. It’s a shame as most other reviews have been good which is while we visited.

I would like to share feedback regarding the customer service at your store. Earlier, we ordered mango juice for takeaway and later purchased a banana crepe, also for takeaway. On the second visit, one of my children wanted to eat the crepe immediately because it is his favorite. When we asked to sit down in outside for a moment so he could eat, the staff informed us that seating is only for customers who order drinks. This experience made us feel that the service was not customer‑oriented. Considering that we had already made multiple purchases, it would have been appreciated if some flexibility or understanding had been shown, especially for a child.

We decided we would have something to eat as a bit of a comfort food. So we went for the pizza. Considering all of the dodgy places I’ve eaten in Vietnam I thought this was a safe bet. How wrong was I? On our return to our hotel several hours later we spent the night and the rest of the morning with vomiting and diarrhoea. Probably the worst experience in a restaurant I’ve had in many years. I can only attribute this illness to this Restaurant as we hadn’t eaten at any other place during the day. I would strongly avoid eating at this restaurant.
