We had a wonderful dining experience at Upper Cloud Restaurant and Bar Lakeside. The venue is peaceful and relaxing, offering a beautiful atmosphere to unwind while enjoying the view. A special mention goes to our waitress, My, who was excellent in taking our order and looking after us throughout the evening. Her warm hospitality and attentive service made our visit even more memorable. Highly recommended to try the Gia Ngu Fresh Spring Roll and the Traditional Grilled Pork, both were simply mouth-watering and full of authentic flavors. Every bite was delightful! Thank you to the team for such a lovely experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hanoi.

Worst dining experience ever! I ordered chicken with cashew nuts, chicken quesadillas, and a mango smoothie. The chicken with cashew nuts was completely tasteless, and the chicken wasn’t even cooked properly. On top of that, the dish wasn’t served hot. After spending 22 days in Vietnam, this was by far the most disappointing meal I’ve had. The mango smoothie was okay but overloaded with ice, and while the chicken quesadilla was decent, it couldn’t make up for the overall poor experience. The prices are high for the quality of food served. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. 👎👎

An actually tender, tasty and very juicy steak. Although I ordered medium rare and it was towards medium more. It was the first done well steak out of the dozen + steaks I tried over the years in all sorts of restaurants. Idk about food, but what I ordered was very good, the banana roll dessert with ice cream is a must have. On its own it is not that special but that ice cream combo hits different. The view is great and points straight towards the sword lake. Considering the state of Hanoi it's one of the very few places with great view. Restaurant itself is modern, clean and the staff is very attentive and ready to serve. Only thing that I tried and it didn't deliver was garlic bread. A bit too oily and not enough garlic. On the other hand the fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned just enough with salt. Orange juice was freshly made and was definitely solid, can't go wrong with that. The music is calm sometimes instrumental sometimes with vocals, it has that fancier music vibe. Ov

There was a wide selection and variety of food in the spread, all of which were very well made. I actually looked forward to having breakfast here every day during my stay at the hotel. The staff were all so attentive and helpful, and the manager Susan, was very kind to make us special drinks on some days! I loved the coffee here very much. I’ll miss having meals here.
