⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Over Extracted at 87 Nguyễn Du is hands down the best coffee in Saigon. I visit every single day and it never disappoints. The coffee is consistently excellent, the hot flat whites are absolutely perfect, and the cold teas are just as good (the orange & jasmine is my favourite). The staff are amazing: always polite, welcoming, and great with both Vietnamese locals and expats. It is the kind of place that instantly makes you feel comfortable. There is indoor seating with air con when you need a break from the heat, and great street seating if you want to sit back, drink your coffee, and watch busy Vietnamese life go by. They offer a wide range of coffee options, and the quality is solid. You can also grab some pastries to go with your drink. The coffee is categorized by origin, including both Vietnamese beans and imported ones from Brazil, and both types are worth trying. I’ve stopped by here a few times when traveling to Ho Chi Minh City for work. Sitting outside, sipping an espresso or Americano while watching the traffic and catching up with a friend, that’s the best part for me. Overall, it’s a spot worth experiencing.
