⭐⭐☆☆☆ Disappointing Experience – Great Fish Display, below Average Food and Smoking staff I visited Oasis Café in Ho Chi Minh City after hearing about its reputation for the beautiful fish-filled environment. Without a doubt, the fish ponds and aquatic displays are the main attraction of the place. The atmosphere is unique, relaxing, and visually appealing, making it a nice spot for photos and a casual visit. However, when it comes to the food, the experience was underwhelming. The quality was below average compared to the expectations set by the café’s popularity. The dishes lacked flavor, presentation was ordinary, and nothing on the menu really stood out as memorable. While the surroundings create a pleasant ambiance, the food itself did not justify the prices charged. Service was acceptable but not particularly warm or attentive. Overall, apart from the impressive fish displays and peaceful setting, there was nothing special that would make me return specifically for the dining

I’ve been to the Oasis Café branch on Phạm Văn Đồng before, but this was my first time visiting the Lê Văn Sỹ location. Personally, I still prefer the Phạm Văn Đồng branch because the overall layout and space feel more organized and easier to navigate. However, the Lê Văn Sỹ branch definitely has more koi fish and also more seating areas around the koi ponds. Sitting there at night is honestly super chill and relaxing 😌 When you come, you might need to wait a bit for a table. The night we visited was extremely crowded, and we waited around 15–20 minutes before getting seated. One small thing to note is that the koi pond seating area has a 2-hour limit per table, which I honestly think is reasonable so other people can also enjoy the experience. One of my friends had just arrived in Vietnam and saw reviews online saying this place was interesting, so I brought them here to try it. Oasis Cafe has a great atmosphere, especially in the morning. I visited around 10AM, and I was lucky to get a table right away. You have to scan a QR code and list all the foods and drinks that you’d like to order which is new to me but it’s kinda nice and good experience, too. If you go around lunchtime, you might need to wait about 30 minutes to get a seat, especially if you want a good spot near the fish pond with kish koi where you can enjoy the view. The experience is really relaxing. The food is good and not too expensive. The staff are also helpful, which makes the visit more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a nice place to eat, relax, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.🤗✨

Very pretty oasis in the middle of the city. Arrived just after 9am and it’s very busy already. There weren’t any of the sunken tables in the ponds available but got seated on the side tables. Just ordered drinks and iced coffees to get this hot day started. Edit after leaving: we were only allowed to feed the koi fish once a 5 star rating was given on google reviews. Thought this was quite ridiculous. I won’t change my rating because it’s a beautiful place and the drinks were good.

I was curious about visiting a koi cafe in Vietnam because it sounded like a unique experience! The interior design and theme of this cafe was definitely unlike anything I’ve ever been to. However, the drinks were not very high quality. Also if you wanted to sit downstairs with the fish it was a 45 minute wait. You also cannot move to a downstairs table if you have been seated already.
