Burger melt has really nice juicy burgers and food I enjoyed my meal. The problem is the customer service. It's horrible. The people are disorganized. No one to welcome people coming in and quickly give the menu and also just show available places where one can sit. The food took like an hour to be prepared. I'm just glad I had the patience to wait because I would have left. The atmosphere isn't quite nice. If they could do a bit of renovations or nice cleaning up to make it more nicer and aesthetic. The tables are small,there is no proper seating place if you're a group, The food doesn't sit well on those round tables. There is no sink nearby if you want to wash your hands I don't know if they expect us to use the one in the toilet. I just hope they would see this and consider rectifying some of these things.

Some time ago, I asked for burger recommendations in Kitwe, and I was recommended The Burger Melt Zambia. Today, I went to find it and try it out. Let's start with the atmosphere - simple setup around the pool area. Outside tables on the grass and inside bar area. The service was great. I was greeted on arrival and served with speed. I asked the waiter what burger was recommended, and she referred to the Shuga Dzadi Cheese Burger. The food arrived after 20 minutes, and I started with the chips, which were so fresh and crispy ( I almost finished it before digging into the burger). The first bite into the charcoal grilled patties and bacon and the flavors were popping in my mouth. OMG!! The burger is delicious. At first, I had to look inside because it tasted like grilled brisket. The sauce im still trying to identify how to explain the flavors, but this burger is a perfect match. I am writing this review for the owner, as this place has got potential but the staff is ruining it. And i hope he sees this. I was passing through Kitwe on 1st November Sunday and stopped here to grab a quick dinner, at around 20 hours. Ordered 2 simple beef burgers, and it took 1.5 hours to arrive. Customer service was at a really bad level. Extremely rude waitresses with big attitudes, don't know how to talk to customers. She specifically developed this attitude whne we inquired about the late food. Dirty tables with drink spills and empty bottles lying around, and they don't clean up until someone else needs to use the table. It will be understandable if the place was crowded, but it wasn't. Almost everything we asked for from the beverages menu weren't available. We ended up ordering just water. We were ready to lave after 1.5 hours of waiting, as there was no sign of food arriving on our table. I asked for the bill only for the water form another waitress, and the food arrived

Burger melt has nice food. The problem is the waiters have an attitude towards customers. There were no signs to show where the reception is or someone to welcome people. The food took 45 minutes to be prepared. We tried our best glad to wait because would have left. If they could work on that, it would be an added advantage. The tables are dirty and were not dusted before we sat down.

The ambience is peaceful but the service is pathetic,they should really do better with the customer service,I waited for over an hour for the food plus the food was not well-cooked and I found insects in my food So disappointing….
