It was an early dinner so the place was relatively quiet at first. Unfortunately once it got a bit busier it was hard to get the waiter's attention but they did the best they could. The food was exceptional! The flavours were great with the main dishes. The steak was cooked to perfection and the curry chicken was seasoned extremely well. LThe side dishes were ok and you could refill as much as you like. The portion sizes were also good enough to fill you. The Malawi shandy was just alright. I've tasted better. Definitely would like to return and try other dishes

One of Lusaka's restaurants that has stood the test of time. It has a cosy environment and good service. There food is tasty and fresh. They serve the best pepper steak in town. It has two outlets. One at Lusaka Club and the other at East Park Mall. Reservations can be made prior to your visit but walk-ins are also welcome. Food can also be pre-ordered for pick up later. Overall, it has a good ambience, good food and friendly staff.

"Marlin" Restaurant is nestled in the heart of the Longacres area, adjacent to the once prestigious Lusaka Club. It is also a dining experience that leaves a mixed impression. The decor, while maybe aiming for a cosy ambience, feels outdated and needs a refresh. The open kitchen concept, while possibly intended to showcase culinary artistry, inadvertently fills the dining area with a cacophony of aromas, some enticing, others less so. The menu (by the way, printed with some typing errors) offers a diverse range of options, but the execution is inconsistent. The rock shandy lacked the expected zest, and the pancakes were overly sweet, lacking the depth of brandy flavour. The minestrone was passable, while the self-serve salad bar raised hygiene concerns. However, the pepper steak emerged as a standout dish, delivering on flavour. The dimly lit interior, while perhaps intended to create an intimate atmosphere, instead cast a gloomy pall over the dining experience. Service was attentive,

It is located in the heart of the city and its within a driving distance. It has a couple of drink choices and the variety of beers. The place is clean and the service is excellent.
