Anytime I need to order a takeaway for my boss, Verandah Cafe is always ready, willing, and able. Messages are answered within minutes, the food is ready on time, and everything is prepared to perfection. He will not get a take away from anywhere else. The staff are incredible, the food is amazing, and no one comes close to their standards. I couldn’t recommend an establishment more highly than Verandah Cafe. You won’t be disappointed — and like me, you’ll keep going back for more. Personally i love the chilled vibe when i meet up with my friends and family. They are welcoming and treat you like family.. If there was a 10 star rating they would get it from me!

Thoroughly enjoyed my banofee crepe, best dessert I’ve had in a long time! Just the perfect balance in sweetness, at unbeatable prices! The pulled pork was also absolutely delicious, came with a fresh salad. I will most certainly be going back to try out more of their menu. Nice cosy space, great for catching up with friends.

I went there in Dec last year and had was attended by a very rude waiter. I asked him if there were any special dishes or anything he would recommend, he failed to respond and gave some long winding answer. He on top of that was low key rude. Anyway, we placed our order which was a basic half chicken and chips. It was well presented but raw! We called the waiter to inform him of the raw chicken. He came through, informed him and he continued with his low key arrogance advising that there are chickens they have that cook like that. I showed him the blood which was evidence of rawness. He irritated, grabbed the plates and took them away. Management discounted the bill, which I was ok with since mistakes do happen but that guy's stinking attitude left a bitter taste in my mouth. I am torn on whether to recommend it or not, because what went wrong was just the food and the waiter's attitude.... I doubt the food is always raw based on other reviews....
