First time here tonight, really lovely atmosphere very calming and minimal with a clean aesthetic, great natural light. Friendly staff and good serving sizes, good quality ingredients. The Food was very enjoyable and everyone had a lovely time. The mushroom sauce was especially good with the chicken schnitzel. We enjoyed our evening here with family.

Delicious lunch outdoors hence the lattice shadows One duck dish and a porchetta followed by semifredo and a frangapani tart. All four dishes were generous and beautifully plated and most importantly all equally delicious

This pub is ok. It’s a little out of the way. Freshly renovated is clean and tidy inside - but lacks charm and warmth. There is a modest selection of beers/ciders on tap. The food was average. The chicken schnitzel essentially crumbed fillets - so thick pieces of chicken rather than thin and tenderised. Presentation was basic. Overall. OK.

From the outside it just seems like less assuming pub but inside it’s tastefully renovated to the highest degree and the customer service and feeling important is certainly there given by the staff and finally the meals we had were cut above in the other pub we’ve had in awhile. it’s not just a pub for a meal. It’s a pub for a special occasion. The big negative is that the wine per glass is on the higher side against other pubs. If you’re booking a reservation for dinner asked for beside the fireplace. it’s a lovely spot in winter we have been back 3 times in the last 6 months and it’s fantast
