I had a very disappointing dinner at the Brasserie. I ordered a burger priced at $31, which was nothing special, there wasn’t even tomato sauce provided with the chips. To make matters worse, the patty was significantly overcooked and burnt. It’s surprising that something like this would even be served, as you would expect a chef to have better quality control. Went to C.ex Coffs last night for dinner with friends, we only visiting Coffs for 2 nights on our way back to Qld. Got a seat easy enough, wasn't that busy on a Tuesday night. I wasn't overly hungry so just ordered fish and chips for myself and was suprised at how big the serving size really was. I really did enjoy my meal, didn't have to wait to long either. Was a good atmosphere in there, nice staff, quick service, they had a really happy chirpy lady at the front desk too where you sign in, she explained where we needed to go for dinner. All in all was a really good night.

Had a large group here for a wake recently. We were in a nice quiet area with tea, coffee and some yummy sandwiches which was the perfect set-up. Afterwards a group of 20 had a spontaneously organised dinner in the Brasserie. The menu had lots of choices so everyone was happy. I had a very tasty lamb roast (pictured). Fantastic staff were friendly & helpful. A great option for a drink and/or meal for visitors to Coffs.

OVER RATED! Lengthy queues to order a meal whilst the staff member has no idea or training how to push those talkative customers away. $35 for a battered fish= an absolute scam to their customers/“members”. $9.10 for a schooner, “oh but you can get a cheaper price if you’re a member” - members should be getting a cheaper price more than $7.50 a house beer schooner. Abby at the bar is slower than a sloth knowing she works hospitality and it’s a fast paced industry. Being seated next to a view of a car park despicable in the dining area.
