It can be a bit tricky finding restaurants that are open on a Sunday night in central Hobart so I was glad to come across the gem that is Frank! The restaurant is located close to the waterfront and has a great atmosphere with a wide variety of seating options, including seats by the window looking out to the water. The menu is extensive and split into snacks, small plates and larger main items, most of which are as good for sharing as they are as an individual meal. Frank is my current personal favourite restaurant in all of Hobart. The atmosphere is incredible at any time past 8:30 pm or whenever it gets dark because they turn on the beautiful mood lighting and it is perfect. The food is so good, THE BEST thing on the entire menu to me is the chorizo entree, it had chimichurri on top and the sausage was perfectly soaked in vinegar, by far my favourite food. Amazing service staff! Were lucky enough to snag a walk-in table for two. The food was outstanding - every dish. Full of flavour, well prepared and decent size. Definitely do not miss out on the pork belly! Staff are happy to advise on allergies, about of good ordered and any questions or concerns you may have. It was a really lovely night out.

Had lunch here yesterday and absolutely loved it. We shared a bunch of dishes, pork belly 300g, Hangar 300g, had the potato side and Brussel sprouts. My wife had a tortilla of the day, one of us had the chicken and corn starters. We had a couple of desserts. All of it was delicious and the service was outstanding. Glen was great and super efficient and friendly. If you’re visiting Hobart make this a stop on your list. Quieter at lunchtime to enjoy the views.
