My partner and I just finished dinner at Palermo tonight. We didn’t plan anything for celebrating his birthday but we already being in the other venues,(asado, SAN Telmo and Pastuso) so we know it in advance it will be awesome. We order the Carlos Gardel set menu, plus 2 glasses of wine and an extra pulpo skewer. Overall the food was amazing, (just personal opinion)the less favourite was the kingfish and the focaccia at the beginning. All the rest absolutely amazing! Our experience at Palermo was flawless from start to finish. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere, with warm light, rustic wooden tables, and leather booths. The food was excellent, although I will admit I struggled to finish off the entire set menu. The steak was some of the best I've ever had, and I was more than happy to take some home as leftovers. But there is always room for dessert, and the creme caramel does not disappoint.

We ordered the empanadas, sausage chorizo and wagyu steak. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The creme brule (flan) was also baked perfectly - smooth and silky with a lovely topping of caramel. I really enjoyed my birthday dinner here.
