Great place for a drink or a light meal at one of the main streets. I had a chicken and avocado panini and a fresh natural juice. Both were delicious.  Coffee is also very tasty. The prices are the average for the area. Paid a total for 22 US dollars for all. Staff is very friendly. Nice outside and inside areas.

Nice place. Ordering at the counter with 4 staff members just standing around brings the place down. The food was OK. The toast were burnt, the lemon was under the poached eggs so that was a bitter and sour surprise. Seems like an upmarket place. Location is just right with lots of light Has potential starting with table service.

Stayed in Newcastle for a week. Planned to have a different coffee experience every day….however we tried Ground Floor Cafe on day one….and stayed for the whole week. Coffee was amazing and the open, shady front window very pleasant. Smiling staff who quickly remembered us and our regular order. Highly recommended.
