This is the best breakfast and coffee in Townsville bar none! On the Strand there are a lot of choices and this cafe is smaller in comparison to others but don’t be fooled the quality of the food, service and coffee is 5 stars every single time. I travel for work a bit and found this place a few years back… they have retained their high quality breakfast and not missed a beat this entire time. Well done team @ Happy Place Townsville… I will keep coming back!

This was my family’s go to place for great food, drinks and service . Staff are friendly and attentive and if they don’t have something you want theres always an alternative. we especially loved the yummy iced matchas and acai bowls . Generous servings and great value for money . It was my first time in Townsville and this restaurant is a hidden gem , we went back 4 times in our two week stay !

Amazing breakfast. Great relaxed beach vibe. Good coffee as well. Take a look if you are on the Strand. I grabbed the Salmon Sensation takeaway to sit in the park. It was sensational!

Waffles were fine however they were advertised as coming with banana, strawberry and Belgian chocolate. They didn't have real chocolate on them at all let alone Belgian chocolate. It was just your regular supermarket chocolate flavoured topping. Very disappointed. The hot chocolate was again, fine, but a bit weak. Could have been warmer too. Overall, nothing was bad, but not as good as it could have been either. My husband said his big breakfast was good though and enjoyed the garlic mushrooms.
