Had an amazing coffee and cake at Epoch Cafe this morning, just prior to seeing the Terracotta Warriors exhibit it at the Museum! Have been to this cafe many times and it never disappoints. I love the coffee here - so much so that I’ve been here just for a cuppa, even if not visiting the museum. Apart from the coffee I love the spaciousness of this venue…tables and chairs are not right up against neighbouring tables, like a lot of other cafes. There’s also a choice of indoor and outdoor spots to sit. And I love the ceiling with Chinese lanterns which add a nice pop of colour. Okay, I’ll admit,

It was all nice considering how busy it was. The food was enjoyed by all, however it did seem as though the meat missed the roll. Coffee was nice. The staff were friendly. Good work everyone.

I ordered the Curry of the Day and it cost about 20 dollars. It tasted good, but I was expecting meat in it for that price. I ordered two small meat pies for my son. 4.50 each. Overpriced. I ordered Chicken Nuggets and Chips for my daughter. About 15 dollars. A bit overpriced. Coffee is good and the price is reasonable. About 5.50 for a medium takeaway
