We arrived as a large group (5 people) and as we walked in, you can see the expression on the lady's face which instantly made us think twice about buying any pastries. At this point, there was no other patrons in the bakery, only a couple dining at one of the tables. That's a total of 7 people in a fairly large bakery. As some of us sat down and others went up to the counter, the same lady instantly said to us that this was a takeaway bakery. No dine ins. Truly a hidden gem in the heart of Vienna’s first district! We are locals and somehow we only discovered this place a few days ago! Very affordable and delicious breads, pastries, warm beverages and cakes! The young men working here are extremely friendly and professional! Highly recommended!

Walking in narrow alley in central old city Vienna, we found this little gem of bakery and coffee house. Apparently it was established as a bakery in the 16th !!! Century, and the current owner is son of 1960 owner and baker. It is a small but very pleasant space with kind service tasty bread and hot drinks, all at reasonable prices. A pleasure:)

Such a nice little cafe with really amazing baked goods. Eat in or enjoy your food outside on the tables in a quiet little alley. Great service with a smile and very homely feel to everything. Loved it for being away from the crazy touristy crowds.
